Ardmore, PA -- Jason's Toridasu of Ardmore will celebrate its one-year anniversary on June 27 and 28 with a limited-time surprise giveaway to thank its customers, and its official announcement of plans to open a second, larger open kitchen hub location in the Bala Cynwyd area, according to a press release.

From the success of its Ardmore location and its "Jason's Toridasu Express" brand of packaged takeout offerings at restaurants and cafes in Montgomery County, this popular upscale takeout sushi restaurant is expanding its operations in Fall 2016 by opening a second location at the newly renovated Presidential City complex on City Line Avenue, the release states.

This 25-seat Jason’s Toridasu location ("toridasu" means "takeout" in Japanese) will boast what they call the largest open kitchen in the Main Line area.

The expanded menu of Japanese cuisine will include -- in addition to fresh sushi made onsite each day – selections ranging from its unique line of brightly colored signature rolls to new delicacies such as exquisite Oh Toro (tuna belly), the release states.

"Opening additional Jason’s Toridasu locations was always in our plan," owner Jason Kim, who is also the proprietor of Jason's CozyDay, a Korean street food restaurant in Philadelphia, said in the release. "With this new location, our model is taking shape. Our commissary at Presidential City will serve as the center of our Main Line network of restaurants, supplying smaller additional Jason’s Toridasu neighborhood locations that we plan to open. This Presidential City advances our long-term vision of operating a network of multiple hubs throughout the Philadelphia region – and beyond.”

Owner Kim envisions his strategy unfolding regionally over the next ten years. “We’re opening this Main Line Philadelphia hub sooner than we expected because of the success we achieved at Jason’s Toridasu in Ardmore after only one year. We are fortunate to have a strong relationship with loyal repeat customers and a steady stream of new customers who are discovering us constantly through word of mouth."
